The Virginia Board of Dentistry has learned of scammers attempting to defraud licensees across the state of Virginia by posing as Department of Health Profession Investigators and/or the Executive Director.
Botulinum toxin injections in general dentistry
SB1539 was passed and will be effective July 1, 2023. However, the bill requires that the Board of Dentistry create regulations, prior to a General Dentist administering botulinum toxin injections cosmetically.
